Stopped by AKS Firearms in Lafayette yesterday on the way home from Bass Pro in Auburn.
They had quite a few boxes of 7.62x39 in stock (Wolf &Tula), $10 each. A little high but not too bad for the current political climate.
Well...after seeing DystruktoBoi1's thread about flash lights on AKs...and finally getting my M10 in..I decided to contribute my most recent rifle in a few photos for viewing.
These M&M M10 rifles are Romanian mfg, similar to WASRs but with a better fit/finish on them from my observations...
So threaded muzzles are a no-no for post ban rifles, I understand that.
What about those slip on muzzle breaks that clamp around your front sight? Not planning on doing it to my AK anytime soon but I figure if I ever get a cheap WASR I want to franken-gun up would this be legal?
Just got my first AK, a .223 polytech. Everything seems good, but the gas tube seems to be a little loose...even with the latch as far as I can push it down, even with pliers.
Is there any way to figure out/fix the problem? Is it a bad thing if it's a little wiggly? Thanks guys
I know there are AKs in every gunshop in NY, but when I read the law it seems to say that every single firearm with an AK style receiver in NY is banned.
Here is the language that I think describes every AK action as a banned "assualt weapon" in NYS law:
