Well it was nice out today so I decided to throw the scope on 597 and sight it in again as I had been thinking of selling it. I wasn't shooting any Gumbys damn it .... (though I did shoot some 12 inch GI Joes) ... Just paper.... anyways I forgot how well this thing shoots especially for a bone...

Spent some time today putting in the new Target hammer in to my 597. While I was in there I free floated the barrel and gave her one hell of a cleaning. I was pretty darn easy here are some pics. Notice the bad ass wheeler screwdriver set my pops picked me up for Christmas in the back ground...

got a boyds laminate stock for around 30 bucks new. It just came today so I put it on, I must say it really makes it look much much nicer The original OD green plastic stock is pictured next to it. oh please don't mind the ugly ass carpet it is my bike room.

I can't believe how much packing grease is in this gun from the factory. It's insane. I probably have ran the brush through about 5 times, and also ran about 15 patches through, and they're still coming out black. I tried to use some of these new patches I got, but they basically fell apart...
