Womens only NRA Basic Pistol Firearm safety class

Rochester Personal Defense, in cooperation with the Genesee Conservation League, is presenting the following class:

NRA Basic Pistol Class – For Women only!!

Ladies: Do you want to learn how to shoot a handgun but don't know where to go to learn? Does your husband/boyfriend/etc. have a firearm or pistol in the home that you do not know how to use? Do you want to see how much fun the shooting sports can be?

We all know that there are certain things that spouses or significant others should not teach each other or discuss, right? They usually include: driving lessons, politics, wallpapering or painting, and firearms. Why not come out and learn from some easy going, approachable, competent, friendly, and non-testosterone charged instructors.

Learning to handle a pistol is one of the most satisfying, empowering things that you can do.

We will teach you:
- The basic knowledge, skills, and attitude for owning and using a handgun safely.
- The three cardinal rules for firearms safety.
- Safe handling of a handgun, including loading, unloading, and firing.
- Safe storage.
- A proper stance, grip, sight alignment, and trigger control.
- The basic fundamentals of shooting a handgun.
- How to clean and maintain a handgun.
- How to get involved in the shooting sports and how to further your firearms education

Come and learn during this ladies only class, you'll be glad you did it!

Date: September 13th, 8am to 6pm
Location: Genesee Conservation League
Cost: 80.00 per person

So, 6 women came out the the class and had a ball.

Just finished one in Binghamton with the same results. Each of the attendees had fun while learning how to shoot.

More are scheduled in the future, so keep an eye on the website and let's get everyone trained!!!

I just set a new date for the next NRA Basic Pistol for Women only...

March 7th, 2009 at the GCL here in Rochester. 8am to 6pm

Get the word out now and plan for it. Guys......get your significant others to attend - you won't regret it!

My girlfriend went to this class the last time Dave had it and talked about it forever when she got home. She had a good time and learned lots of stuff.
