Once May hits I gotta see where my funds are at, but I definitely want to attend! The shotgun class was great.

I just got a .22 conversion too, so using .22 would be extremely awesome in the wallet.

Great day of training and a great group of guys to spend a Saturday shooting with. Everyone was safe and worked hard which is the name of the game. Excellent work everyone. We had some pretty interesting malfunctions in this course which supports the fact that if you own an AR/M4/M16 you better know how to fix it if you may have to fight with it. Machinator ran most of the class with his new .22 conversion and did a great job. This is the first time we have allowed that in a class and I think it worked out well other than me forgetting to tell Machinator to switch out his conversion after lunch. Oh well, at least he got to shoot some .223! ;D Sorry bro!

A BIG THANK YOU to ROGUE ELITE for sponsoring MDTS and providing the prizes for the team on team competition drills!

After fundamentals in the morning we worked extensively on horizontal and vertical displacement

    Some shooting on the move

End of day was intro to positional shooting & proper use of cover and concealment.. Thirsty engaging target through middle port hole.

CHans utilizing urban kneeling to engage through low port hole

Machinator with his black powder rifle... I mean black rifle

Machinator doing an excellent job utilizing cover/concealment and engaging through low port hole.

HUGE thanks to Chris, Mark and Tom, and RogueElite for the prizes. That was a nice touch.

It was an excellent class and Chris is an excellent teacher. I recommend all the Rochester local folks take this class when Chris brings it to the Canandaigua Sportsmen's Club in July. If my schedule allows, I'm going to try and take it again. Chris changes stuff up and additional practice is always good to have.

I'll be writing a full review for the blog and posting it sometime this week.
