I seriously doubt a 3 point was ever under contract for .mil use

Oh, and I went looking because it was bugging me:
There are .mil NSN's for 3 point slings, but, they are all listed as 'acceptable aftermarket' not 'standard issue'
(as in like pmags, you can have them, they won't issue them)

There's enough guys who get thier asses kicked by a conventional 2pt sling, and they hand them something with 10 more feet of strap and a fistful of hardware?
Somebody didn't think things through very well, did they.
(or mabe they did and are now rolling in it with thier stock options and profits)
