ER&G Club Refund

I'm not looking to start a discussion about Elbridge. I'm just curious if there is anyone else who is still waiting to receive a refund? I put in my application just before the crapola hit the fan over there and never got a membership. I asked for a refund August 18th and still have yet to receive it. I've talked to the President well over a dozen times and he promises me it's in the mail. I'm starting to grow a little anxious about it and want my money back. Is there anyone waiting for their refund too?

As of 2 weeks ago, no. I sent them a money order from my bank and can't find the stub for it. If they didn't cash it 2 weeks ago, I doubt they have since.

Can you do a stop payment with the bank and recoup your funds that way?

I can't find the stub, so I can't stop payment on it. I put the stub in a "safe" place, but can't remember where

Yeah, that makes things complicated. I guess wait a little longer, then call back and ask for a specific date on which you'll get it. After that date comes and goes and you still don't have it, it's time for small claims. Sue them for the membership amount AND court filing fees (about $20).

I paid $45 (family membership) and only got $35 back. I left a message on the club answering machine the day I got the letter and check, but have not heard back or received the $10 they still owe me.

Got my refund and cashed it at least 2 weeks ago.

I'm pretty sure they only keep records on the stuff that benefits them. Anything else evokes a "deer in headlights" look from Ron. It's effin' funny as he11...

Got a call from Elbridge today. He said they never received an application or money order from me. I have trouble believing that. Oh well......

I never said I was voted out. I know there were a couple other guys waiting for a refund who sent in an application.

Lol... Dude...why in the world would you wanna join a club that's worse than Elbridge; especially with a Saiga 12 in the arsenal (?) When you finally get an AR, they're gonna be watching your every move out there.

Adam sent it in around the time that the whole "issue" that got us banned came up. They suspended "new" memberships and kept giving him excuses about what was going on. As I've said before...it seems like the only thing that's organized over there is the beer in the fridge. Ask for anything else (like previously performed decibel test results) and you'll draw blank stares from Ron.
