    Default Cleaning a ML

Friend of mine, a bit kooky most of the time..lol, told me today that after cleaning his muzzleloader he fires 2 shotgun primers to "clean out the breech plug" from any fluid fouling. Huh? Never heard that anywhere.

After cleaning you can snap a cap or two (I dunno about a shotgun primer though) to make sure the nipple is cleared out...

Not necessary until just before loading to make sure it's clear & shotgun primers work fine

I do this in my smokeless muzzleloader after I clean it as suggested by savage.
