    Default Are these guns legal in NYC? and other legal questions.

    Are the following guns legal in NYC? The rifle/shotgun office in NYC offers no help at all. They talk to you like you're dirt.

    M1 Garand,
    SKS,

    We have a 5 round limit on our rifles and shotguns here. Do they mean that there is a limit of 5 rounds in the magazine or 5 rounds in the entire gun?

    i do not believe that either is going to be legal in nyc, but im not 100% sure. i know that you can not have an ar15 or anything that it resembles...

    and it is 5 rds total. 1 in chamber and 4 in mag

    the reason NYS is so strict is due to that festering cesspool stuck off the south east side of the state.
