I'm thinking of picking up an M1 Garand in the future... after I find an AK of course. What should I expect pricing to be on these and are there any things I should be aware of?

i have seen them go anywhere from 800 ish up to like 4grand

My coworker knows a ton about garands and other wwII type rifles. I can ask him for you. He might be going to the gun show so maybe we'll see him there too.

my grandfather left me a m1 garand when he passed, i have only cleaned it and stored it away, never shot it.
