After a full year of waiting and taking safety classes and bringing in paperwork and more waiting... I finally got my pistol permit in Westchester County! Unfortunately, because of the weather today... I have to wait a few more days before I am able to go pick up my pistol.

There is a public range in Yonkers - Coyne Park. I did not know there was anything in Ardsley. The only other range I knew of in Westchester was in Mt. Vernon. I'd love to have any information on Ardsley or any other ranges in Westchester that you may know about.

If you get your CT non-resident permit there is a nice range (a bit pricey) in Norwalk. Not sure where you are in Westchester but that is actually closer for me than all the Westchester ranges.

There is also Blue Mountain outdoor range in Peekskill.

The one in Mt. Vernon is Pioneer / Gold Shield training center.

target restriction.... but at least i can go to the range whenever i want, instead of driving over an hour into PA.

congrats! even though firearms restrictions in ny are ridiculous im happy that i live in a county that generally doesnt restrict carry permits
