Default Got mine! - Monroe County 3 1/2 months

Got my permit int he mail today.

I was a little worried the Sheriff who called drilled into me pretty good regarding my driving record (it was pretty bad when I was younger) and a prior misdemeanor conviction.

I turned in my paper work on September 30th, Received my calls right around the beginning of December or late November. so all told I waited 3 months, 18 days, and 1.5 hrs until I had it in my hands.

Looks like they're serious about clearing the back log when I applied I was hearing 9-10 months wait.

I have been on the lookout for about a week now! I have been eagerly awaiting his arrival each & everyday! My new toy is stuck at the FFL until Santa...Er...the Mail Man brings me my new permit. Some of the kid's Christmas toys have already hit the trashcan, but Dad's toy will last much longer!

I know I should get over it, but that really ticks me off. I keep my nose clean, but because I live in Oneida county I can't get a unrestricted permit. Balls.

Ok. That will be my last rant on this subject.
