Pistol Permit Cattaragus County

Hey guys new around here my brother and I are applying for our pistol permit here in cattaragus county on Wednesday. I was wondering if anyone knew of a pistol safety and handling course here in Catt. County or adjacent counties? Was not sure how it all worked and wanted to get enrolled in a pistol course asap. I'm sure I can call the pistol permit clerk tommorow. Just bouncing it off of you guys. Should I complete the course before I turn in my application or is it ok to hand in the application and take the course before I get my permit?

Alright just called the pistol permit clerk in Little Valley a pistol course is not needed for Cattaragus County . In order to pickup your pistol permit application head down to their Little Valley Office and you have to pay $2.00 for the application. Once you fill out application you need to schedule an appoint with the pistol permit clerk. I will update this when I shcedule the appointment. That way others in Catt. County know the process.
