i'm finding mixed threads all over the internets about this stuff. i want some for my fiance to carry while she's downtown roc, on certain evenings. anyone know of any local shops carrying this stuff? i heard gander does but havent called to confirm.

Not sure if this is correct, but seeing as how we are in New York, I am tempted to believe it is...

Seems that NY considers it a firearm since It uses a charge to deliver the OC.

I bought some for my wife about a month ago and I was shocked to find out I had to fill out a standard form and wait for the check just like a firearm

They have it at pro-gun in victor. Just have to fill out the regular form you would if you were to buy a can of o.c.

I bought it for my wife online some time back but know that is not considered legal in NY. I am really not concerned with it. If she needs to use it, I'll deal with the consequences then.

I googled it and the promotion video was on youtube (from the company) says its legal in all 50 states.

Thats the same thing i saw and i wanted to get one for my wife too but never got around to it and she already has the regular one, i just thought this was more faster for her to get to since the other one she has to turn top before she pushes down..

From what I heard that a marketing tool... When you go to place an order you will not be allowed to do so if you live in NY and several other states....
