Default Active duty, reserve, and veterans belonging to the VFW and American Legion

More then just those qualify to take advantage of this so check out the site to see if you qualify.

I just saw this today and wanted to share it to those who made not of known about it.
Veterans Vacations for families from Veterans Holidays
Basically its a website where you can book vacations. They offer places around the world.
Check out this link for an example Vacations for Veterans from Veterans Holidays*:*Search Results
If you look at the months on the left the ones in blue have places you can get for $369.00 a week, plus if you book online you save $20 on top of that. You will notice november is purple and thats because that is the selected month for my example page.

If you belong to a organization such as VFW or American legion or others you can check to see if you qualify to book through this website by clicking the book link. Then scroll down to the drop down menu labeled "installation" and you can see if its listed.

I found this last night and thought it was very interesting so I thought I would share it so others who may be able to use it know about it.

Do I have to be a VFW or AL member to take advantage? Or just a Veteran (USMC)?

So the FAQ on the website make the non affiliation veteran requirements look strict (retired or a certain percentage of disability) but the list above given to me by them makes it look like a regular veteran can use it as well.

Makes sense...Those organizations listed do the required leg work to verify veteran status...

but at the bottom it says U.S. veteran so I am going to assume you can be a regular veteran and use it. When you go to book there is a drop down menu to select what organization you belong to and I think if you choose veteran then your still fine. I hope to try it out though in the next year sometime. Some of the deals for condos just seem to good to pass up.

From what I can tell the ones with the $370 a week minus $20 if you book online are time share places. So I am guessing the organization that runs the website owns those timeshares and thats why you get such a good deal.
