Default Sporting Clays event to benefit Boy Scouts

Sorry, didn't know where to post this.

Just received info on a Sporting Clays outing to benefit the Boy Scouts on Friday July 27th at Ten Mile River Preserve in Dover Plains, NY. Seems a little expensive ($300 per individual or $250 each per team of 5). I think the price includes ammo, targets, and probably a lunch or something but not sure. Never did this before but sounds like it could be a fun day for a good cause. Anyway anybody ever do this before?

All I have as far as shotguns go is a Browning BPS pump in field length. Would this be OK for this kind of event? Obviously, I would think a longer trap/skeet barrel would be better suited, but this is still on my things to get list, lol.

Anyway, any info or advise is appreciated. Also, let me know if anyone has interested in going.

    Thanks.

I have done this befor on other courses. It is a fun time and the price seems in line if lunch and dinner is included.

You will be working with the pump because I am sure there will be true doubles...(two flying when you call pull)..I don't know th ecourse but would bring improved Cy and Mod chokes. I usually use the impr cyl.
