Court ruling raises gun law awareness

The U.S. Supreme Court’s recent ruling that residents of Washington, D.C., have the constitutional right to own handguns was the first time that the land’s highest court had made a decision based on the Constitution’s Second Amendment. Many believe that precedent could spur more discussions of gun rights and gun laws nationally and here in Montana.
