Oregon: Pass right-to-carry privacy

Having been approved by the Oregon House, the bill on concealed handgun licenses as public records now rests in the state Senate. There it ought to be speedily approved.
The bill would put right-to-carry permits in the same category as driver’s licenses and lots of other public records: They are off limits to public inspection unless someone makes a compelling case that the public interest requires their disclosure.
