Default Purchasing a firearm in another state....

Hey guys, (and girls)

I'm wondering if anyone has any info on purchasing firearms in another state and bringing them back to good 'ol NY.. I'm thinking about PA only because I'm close to the border and have found some pretty good deals out there.. I know they dont have the 10 round max capacity like NY does, but if a long arm only held 10 rounds and met all the other criteria for being in NY, are there any things I need to know or any other steps to obtaining a firearm outside of NY and returning to NY with it.

Does anyone know about any restrictions on Handguns purchased outside the great state of NY?

An info would be appreciated.

Pistols have to be shipped to a licensed pistol dealer, registered then transferred to you using the normal methods.

I think you're good to go, that is a pretty recent thread.
