New NY assault weapon ban re-definition ( S1422-2013 )

Just read through this document, and it appears to be a much more aggressive bill than what we already have in the state.

It also appears to do away with "grandfather"-ing: S1422-2013 - NY Senate Open Legislation - Increases the penalty for the possession, use, or sale of certain firearms and ammunition and redefines "assault weapon"; repealer - New York State Senate
