why bother Romney already clinched the nommination, was a waste of money to hold a primary now.
    NY Gun Laws simplified:
Are you in NY? Do you have anything that looks, feels, smells, tastes or could be mistook, even by an imbecile, as a gun? If the answer is yes to both questions turn yourself in to the NYSP.

My Mistake, I have not bothered to vote in a primary is such a long time, everytime the Republican Establishment picks their candidate I just cringe. If they would pick someone that I could vote for then it would be different. I could not vote for Renzie, or Dohenie when they put them up Nor that witch I cannot even remember her name. Seems like owens is going to own District 23 and Gildibrans seat is secure.

Hey, how about 'I'm an independant and can't vote in party primaries' option before you go trying to call people out for not voting today?
(say what you want, but by the very virtue of creating the poll, especially with that duty part, that is what you have done)

Some would actually have participated today, but aren't allowed to.

Obviously the poll is intended for registered republicians and others who may never vote but that would have been a good one too.

firstly, it's not too late to go vote, most if not all are open until 9 PM. Secondly, not going because you don't think it will make a difference is part of the problem we have. I haven't yet but am purposely waiting for my son to come home from school so we can go as a family.

Yep, I voted. I'm by no means a traditional Republican, but I registered as a Republican back in 2008 to vote for Ron Paul in the primaries.

Honestly, I'd recommend registering for a party in NY state, even if you're really an Independent. The primaries are such an important part of the process, it's a shame to miss out.

That Wendy Long seems like a pretty solid pro-gun candidate for the Senate, huh?

I remember reading a few months ago that Gillibrand had raised more money than any other Senatorial candidate, by far. Wall Street really wants her to keep her seat.

FWIW, I used to be a registered Conservative, but switched parties in order to vote in primaries.

One primary out here was to kick the GOP Establishment's candidate to the curb. Wish I could have voted in it but Bellavia isn't in my district.

No. And I probably will not vote again in the corrupt system that is our political machine. They should add 'None of the Above' to all elections allowing that option to win and a flush of all the crooks, clowns, muppets and so forth that have been presented as candidates regularly to the voters to choose their own poison from.

The herd lines up to vote, thereby legitimizing a broken system. Voting = authenticating the status quo.

The day no one voted it would make a louder statement for change.

How is the Status Quo NOT "I must vote for this puppet or this muppet because it is my right to vote!"?

Like this Presidential election: Come on out and have your voices heard, you've been given the right to choose between a douche and a turd!

Don't just support PART of the constitution.

I voted today and the form included a write-in space, so I guess I don't get your post? Don't get me wrong, I just don't see how taking no action is somehow better than trying to change things.

IT will never happen and the only statement it would make is, I give up. I have voted for the absolute best candidate ever since 1986, my self. Its my own little personal protest.
