Wow.
no updates for 28 days??? I wonder what happened
that is seriously messed up? At what point do the citizens of Taxachusetts stand up and say "ENOUGH".
Does this guy even have a lawyer? why is he still in jail?
This is a classic case of the Government making up the rules as they go.![]()

Secret shooting range on the 3rd floor of your rented apartment? With that kind of bad judgment I'm not surprised nor angry they locked him up and took away all his guns.
I'm sort of divided on that part, I haven't seen it, I don't know one way or another. It does seem that indoor ranges are legal, and apparently he had a good backstop. If he's shooting at a safe, indoor range, even if it's in his house, I can't see a problem with this, though the reverse is true.
mine involves a 6' culvert, about 50' long (maybe 100') CCTV and you'll need a backhoe to install it, as it will be underground. accessible through the basement The back stop will be in a "Ballistic room" 8' x 8' x 3'd with a ½" steel backstop. It will have lights, drainage and everything. it will have about 4' of dirt on top of it, so I doubt a bullet will escape. The CCTV is so you will be able to see your shot without going down range.
I might even put a electro-mechanical target retrieval system in

Maybe my understanding of the law is a little hazy, but "nothing in the law allowing something" doesn't sound quite the same as the law specifically prohibiting certain things.
If he has no criminal record, if he does have a firearms license, and if he has no mental health issues (I'm sure if he did, the media would have emphasized those like crazy), what is the problem here?
It's understandable that the grenades and armor-piercing rounds may make neighbors a little uneasy...but for the most part, I'm failing to see the legal implications of BEING PREPARED. (Aside from a homemade 3rd-floor shooting range in a standard house probably not being overly safe...)

in light of the video dirty dan posted, i retract my remarks about his mental health status. yikes.
