I wasn't 100% sure where to post this, so I posted in here because it relates to our lovely NYS laws.


We all know that in our great state of NY we can only have a 10 round magazine for anything after '94.

I have a .450 Bushmaster that I'd like to get a larger capacity magazine for. All I need to do is get a 30 rounder, change the follower, and voila! I have a 10 round mag. My question is...is it legal? I'm assuming it is because although it's a 30 round mag, it's been changed to only hold 10 rounds.
