    Default 10 Round Mag Limit

Were would one even start to contact about getting the law restricting standard capacity removed in NY.
I find it is limiting us of taking advantage on newer/safer firearms that are available but are not make in the reduced magazine configuration, we seems to deny partial rights of bearing those arms

    Just thinking out loud.

Your assemblyman or senator could introduce a bill amending the penal law.

I'm not a huge fan of this 10rd mag limit, esp now that I have a Saiga 12. An MD-20 would be on my list of things to buy if it werent for this particular law.

I'll write something up to mine, maybe anyone else could spread the word around and ask any firearm friendlies you know to do the same regarding the 10 round limit.

Maybe we can chip away a bit at a time.

I'm still new to this state. Who should I write to?

It would be very nice to see the 10-round limit tossed in the trash, along with the rest of the AWB.

Looks like my senator is David Valesky. I don't know his history with gun control. He's a democrat, but then again there are some pro-gun democrats, so I think it's worth a shot.

The new candidate for Governor Carl Paladino is all for repealing NY's restrictive gun laws.
