|  Hello from Monroe County
Hi Folks, I am another of those folks who have lurked on this site for months now - learning a lot I must say - and have finally registered as a member! I have just gotten back into shooting sports after being away from it for about 20 years. I joined a local range, picked up some rifles that I had always wanted to have when I was younger and did not have the scratch, and have been having a great time. In October I finally submitted my pistol permit application, which was pretty straight forward - once I found this site and took advantage of the resources found here! I just had the interview from the Sheriff's deputy, and I am expecting to get get my permit within the next couple of months. I can't wait! To those of you who created this site, and to those that are active in it - a Great Big Thanks! As you all know all too well, NY does not make it easy, and the info is not always that easily found!
