Hello from the edge of Monroe County
Hello, I am a 38 yr old Male from Hamlin, NY. 1 more mile west and I would be in Orleans County. The reason I specify that is if I lived in Orleans County, getting a Pistol Permit most likely would not take me a year from the date of submission.
Anyway, I am a novice user to handguns. I have hunted in the past with shotguns and rifles but realized it wasnt my cup of tea.
I enjoy skeet shooting and used to load my own shells with my father and blast in our back yard. I have only been to a few rifle ranges back in my boy scout days but sometimes take the old .22 out behind my parents and blast a few cans.
I am a firm believer in the right to bear arms and the right to defend one's home and family.
I have a lot to learn but from what I hear it'll be about a year before I can actually shoot a handgun anyhow.
