Ok I'll post a real one ... this ones been bedding down about 80 feet from the chicken house.Though we hadn t seen him in a few weeks
He would be getting a pass this year anyways

Actually, that is this year's picture. The date on the camera was set wrong by 1 year.

I actually thought it was this years pic. He's not very old and already had great headgear.
That is going to be a heck of a trophy for sure.
Got some pics of him today.
Just got this guy on the camera last week. He looks to be doing well through the winter.

I have a Bushnell Trophy 8mb. This thing runs almost a year on one set of 8 AA batteries. I'm amazed, my last cam only went 10 days before the batteries puked.

This is how I keep it from walking away. The cable goes through the steel box and holds the front cover on.

Has anyone ever tried the solar powered rechargable batteries for there trail cams. I have 3 set up that take 8 AA's and they eat them up real fast.

Do you have yours set to run 24 hours or just during the day. It seems the more night shots mine take the faster the batteries go. I'm guessing from the flash and infer red. Great pics by the way.

I have a nice bushnell on my garage, it is set to go off every 1 sec in 3 shot bursts, night or day.
The batteries lasted 3 months. I think the cold did them in.
I don't know how long the camp batteries last. Another buddies placed that camera and checks it.
My camera is on 24/7. It will take thousands of photos without changing batteries. Some times on a windy night it will take a shot every 5 min., that's the delay I have it set to.
