Default New Crimson Trace gets an A+

Just got back from trying out my new Crimson Trace...I love it! I am a fairly new shooter and have had trouble with my shots hitting low & left. The Laser is really a great training aide, after a few magazines I was able to start grouping my shots beautifully right where I wanted them! It was a snap to install and I like the grip.

Thanks for the report. I have been keeping my eye on a set on gunbroker and ebay seeing what I could come up with. They are expensive to buy brand new and I will wait for a good deal.
Did you go with black/burlwood or carbon?

I played with a set at pro-gun last weekend

Not sure what you mean by a set, mine is a grip mount. I didn't even realize I had a color choice! I guess mine is carbon, since it is black? I don't think anything with "wood" in it will help the ugly Glock look any better! I was at the range today with a guy that had a Kimber with the factory Crimson Trace grips, now that was a sexy gun! He saw me dreweling and offered to let me squeeze off a few rounds too, fun!

Just meant the set of grips that mount to the gun. Yeah they have a bunch fo different colors. They are all rubber molded just different colors. You most likely just have black. Yeah glocks are ugly ..

I have CT grips on my 1911 and I love them. I bought locally from a dealer and got a price as good as any I could find online. I went with the basic black, pretty doesn't count much to me.

I had just priced out a CT laser set up for a ruger lcp. Wasn't too badly priced at all. Would love to try shooting with one.

I got mine from a local dealer for $249+tax brand new out the door. I couldn't beat that price anywhere else I looked. Mine are the LG-401 model.

Have one on my S&W J frame also and it's great for a gun of this size. Grip really helps with the full power 357 magnum loads to.
