They make 700 grain slugs for those![]()

....but what if i am engaged in mortal combat with a rhinocerous?![]()
Gonna be a few guys feeling a little...inadequate next to you at the range.
I know someone who owns a 460. He really likes it. Haven't shot it yet though.
My LGS has a used one,They look a little hard to conceal!![]()
We gotta get outta this place,if it's the last thing we ever do.

http://www.liffreedomfund.org/ It's time for a change in NYS.
That's some heavy duty steel! Enjoy the new gun. Looks like tons of fun.

I've had mine for a couple of years now and my other handguns feel inadaquate after shooting my 500.Buy your reloading gear now,as the factory ammo is hard on the wallet and your wrists.I load 350 grn cast bullets for plinking and 350 grn HP's for hunting.
They make a .50 Cal 1,000 gr T-Rex bullet for it,but I've never tried it and probobly never will.
STEVE
i hate the dull lifeless "brushed" stainless finish. where can i have it polished WITHOUT getting the engraving all fouled up? i worry about some yahoo and his high speed buffing wheel going crazy on it.
recommend a good gunsmith in the 585?
or should i just get a microfiber cloth and some mothers billet polish and do it by hand.. for hours....?
That thing's going to be a bitch to conceal!!
Nice hog leg!
I was thinking of one for a deer slayer.
I'm walking here!
I took my new 500 out to the range on Saturday. I put one round of Magtech factory 400 grain ammo in it so I could test the recoil, it worked fine. So I shot five more rounds of the 400 grain stuff, five rounds of 325 grain Magtech and five rounds of Magtech reduced recoil. After only sixteen rounds the gun was broken. The yoke is bent. The cylinder won’t close. And the screw that holds the yoke in the frame I think is broken as well. The yoke and cylinder completely fall right out of the frame.
At this point, I’m not sure I even WANT this gun. Even if S&W were to repair it, I don’t think I trust it. With that much power I’m liable to blow my face off if it decides to come apart again.
WTF? did it not lock up properly when it was fired? Sounds like it.

I think when it comes to hand cannons, I'll stick with Ruger.
It just seems to me when I look in my reloading manual and see a section that says "Ruger Only" that tells me other guns are not built as heavy as a Ruger
Manufactures don't have a ammo shortage
They have a serious surplus of customers
That sucksHope you get something else that you like and that works better.
