The retaining hole on the magazine (that the magazine catch in the gun slips into to hold the magazine in place) is a different size and shape. Otherwise, they are pretty much the same magazines. You can fix the hole to make them compatible. (Google it, if you like.)

I've always wanted one. One of the great modern pistols no doubt.

When I was a young child (circa 1989), when toy guns were still awesome looking, I have a toy that looked EXACTLY like one of these. It was electronic and when you pulled the trigger it made a firing sound. It was pretty awesome. I think it even had a magazine which held the batteries that you could put in and out. That is my review of this gun.

Having carried the M9 for my military service while in Italy and Iraq I have to say that while this weapon may not have the appeal of the 1911 I have to say that this weapon is exceptional, the only problem I ever had was due to not being allowed to low crawl with a magazine in the weapon. I have fired very few pistols in my time, (P7 and P38 would be the other two) but I have to say that this weapon is simple, functional, and comfortable. The only variant I would probably wouldn't want would be the M93R...

Guess it just depends on where you find them. My local dealer had some for $15 a pop. I picked up 3 earlier in the year.
