Question about refinishing a lower

I could be completely hallucinating here but I'll ask. I thought I saw a website ,the link posted here or somewhere else, of a machinist I guess that could remove the logo off an AR lower and put your custom one on. Now I know you have to have the serial number, the company who made it and the place it was made stamped on it at a certain depth but this place would remove the "logo" and put something else or nothing at all.
