Looked at some M&P 9mms and decided they were too similar to the SR9c i picked up from Scotchman Thursday. Talked to Dennis about a few options, M&P Shield(not in Stock), so i was going to buy some ammo, and then he was going to put the rest on a gift card i could use in the future. So i go to finish off the transaction and he has the AR15 on the counter, Took a good long look at it,( it was calling take me, take me) ,i ended up saying you know i will take the ar15, couldnt resist it. Ended up paying for the ammo. This ar15 is very very nice.

By the way, Tims Guns has an excellent selection, i'll bet they had 30+ Ar-15's in stock, not to mention a ton of other guns, Pricing seemed to be decent, Definitely will make a trip back at some point.
OT but a needed heads up on this business. They sold me a $20 DPMS flash-hider as a fully compliant muzzle-break for $45.Didnt apreciate them having me drive 3 hours after phoning them about having a legal one in stock, and then selling me a Felony at a 200% plus mark-up! I would of taken the freebie as well, then say ya never LOL!!!

Heres what it looks like, came w/ tactical carry handle.Obviously it was the ny compliant version, no lug, pinned break, stock looks like this one but its fixed, 2- 10 round mags, sweet hard case.

If I was you, well if I had won, and already owned 5 AR's I would either take the credit or would donate the credit to some poor slob who does not have an AR. Funny, I just realized I do not own one (not a hint, just saying).

Seriously, you are going to do what you want regardless of what anyone says - so just flip a coin.

I wouldnt take the credit, I would take the AR. You're limited at Tim's: I think their stock is 90% low quality firearms and any ammo they have on hand is low grade. You're better off taking the AR. If you want to sell it, sell it, take the money, and your options are wide open and not limited to what Tim has in stock. If you want a particular gun, you have the money and you can find the best price.

Should have taken the credit.....I could have built the same RRA AR for $800.00 new,so you left $200.00 on the table...! Oh well, nice rifle though....
