Talking FTF questions and is this a good deal?

I am doing a FTF with my friend tonight we are trading guns plus cash. Can anyone send me a "bill of sale" they use when they do a FTF. and also im trading a stag arms model 1 with a case, 2 preban mags and about fifty rounds for a arsenal ak47 (single stack) + $500. Is this a good trade?

I would hav eto say that Arsenal AK is about 600-700 plus 500 cash so you are getting like 100-1200 dollars, if you feel that is fair for your AR (I'm assuming its a stag arms AR you're talking about) 2 preban mags and the 50 rounds then go for it. I have heard those AKs can be opened up to accept double stack mags pretty easily too, keep that in mind.

You do not need a notary. In fact, on a ftf long arm transaction, you don't need a bill of sale at all. That doesn't mean you shouldn't. I prefer to document all of my transactions. Will help in the event of a loss or should anything illicit happen down the road with your "previously owned" gun!

Those are like the two most opposite post ban AK's. century being bottom of the barrel ($450)

If that was an Arsenal made AK it was a great deal for you.

Putnam County requires a BOS to be notarized for amendment purposes, IF it's a handgun sale and IF it's out of county. Incoming only need to be notarized not outgoing sales. The reasoning they give "we don't have pistol records for other counties"......which tells me they're not as computerized as some tin hat wearers think.
No paperwork needed for long arms, though I like to get DL info, just in case.
