    Default NFA dealers in Syracuse?

I will be talking to Allstar Tactical when they get back from SHOT, but I was hoping there was a place closer to Syracuse.

Does anyone know if theres a place in the Syracuse area that deal with NFA guns? Thanks.

I gotta ask, what did you do to make it so it's legal for you to own these things in NY?

Does anyone actually know this? I am super interested in one and I've heard "it is a pistol and goes on your permit" as well as "it's illegal."

I to am looking to get a serbu, And Allstar told me they can handle a transfer for one. In NYS you need to have a chief law enforcement officer sign off on it, or set up a corp. or trust to transfer to. NY considers them a pistol because the gun they were made from did not come with a stock (they make them with security models cut down). There are some other AOW that are legal also.

I would be interested to see official documentation on this subject. Has anyone done real research on this matter, not just taking the word of a gun shop owner. Guys who work in or own shops are not always subject matter experts.

I only ask because a few years back I started researching civilian ownership of a AOW. I did not find any clear answers. Also I didnt think a trust allowed civilians to have NFA firearms within this state, only allowed ownership. NFA items are not even legal for personal use to LEO.

    Bingo.

Allstar Tactical said they will let me know after SHOT.

So theres no Class II's in Syracuse I take it?
I wasn't asking if it was legal or not.

Slow your roll and you won't need this either. ATF is working on eliminating the CLEO signoff requirement on the forms.

Webster is nowhere near Albany. It's right next to Rochester.

You can view the ATF list of all FFL here: http://www.atf.gov/about/foia/ffl-list.html

I'm all sorts of intrigued. I had no idea there was ANY nfa allowed here.
At age 21, I did two things: Stopped wearing underwear and started carrying a gun. The combination has enabled me to remain calm in even the most stressful of situations.
