Fiocchi 45 ACP 230 Grain Jacketed Hollow Point. Cheap, reliable, and accurate for me.

Speer Gold Dots in my pistols. M855 in the rifle at all times for when SHTF, because honestly, when SHTF there isn't any time to start switching around ammo.

I run Hydroshok and Golden Saber alternating for 6 rounds and then three FMJRN in 40cal. I had a police officer tell me to run my Mags this way (he is retired and shall remain nameless )

The Hydroshok is for shallow controlled penetration, which should push the BG back.

The Golden saber is for deep penetration and controlled expansion.

The three hard balls are for through and through penetration, should it get that far

Manufactures don't have a ammo shortage
They have a serious surplus of customers

Well that sounds like a bunch of screwing around.

I don't CCW, but for my "night stand" ammo and hiking/camping, it's Winchester 147gr hollow points. They feed perfectly through my G19 and are much more accurate than any of the lighter ammo I've tried.

9mm 124gr brass jacketed hollow points, Remington Ultimate Home Defense. They run well through my Taurus pt92 and my Keltec p11, and since I don't replace them often, the corrosion resistant cases are nice.

Danny, as a dealer in ammo, what can you tell us about the new Govt. ammo being tested? I saw a vidio last week that blew my mind. 400 lb. wild boar brought to a skiding halt with 1 thats one rd of 9mm. and yes I said 9mm. Makes a friging hole 200 times the size of the rd.

Good shot placement is important in any caliber.

Same here. Have been using the RA9T 147gr T-Series JHP's for over a year now (for SD). They are based on the black talon design. Very reliable ammo with excellent expansion properties. Hopefully SGAmmo gets them back in-stock fairly soon.

I've been running the speer gold dot 147gr but am considering switching over to the 124gr +p. after doing some more research and seeing some videos I think the 124gr +p is the best load.
