Anyone have any hands on use with Rguns? I saw a write up on their Olive Drab rifle and it got a good review. Olive Drab, Matte Sand or Nickel Boron uppers/lowers? YES PLEASE! Twister Barrels? YES PLEASE!
I had a RGuns NiB BCG and a lower parts kit never had any issue with it. Don't have it any more but that had nothing todo witht the product. Their Anodized receivers don't match well however. every peice tends to have a diffferent shade to it.
We have sold a few dozen RGuns rifles. Two came back with broken FCG parts which we replaced with Bushmaster parts.
Their hammers etc are made in house and not the proper width. They cut parts in the LPKs short and thin.
ZERO issues with the lower itself or any complete uppers. I've got a few myself and they with 100% without issue.
Decent stuff but avoid the LPKs and forget any customer support.
The uppers are good to go and stripped lowers are like any other run of the mill on the market..
At my peak, I owned (2) of their uppers and (2) of their stainless steel LPK's. The LPK's are total junk--out of spec and disconnectors are prone to damage when the hammer swings back and hits them.
Of the two uppers, I put about 1,000rds through the first and several hundred rounds through the second. The first had a bolt with a slightly out of spec face. They promptly sent me a new one and I never had another issue. The second has had absolutely no problems. The finish on at least one of the receivers was so-so, but functionally (for the price) I think they're a great upper.
I recently had one of their stainless LPK's and it was JUNK. My rifle 50% of the time would fire on the trigger reset and the initial trigger pull was very stiff. I replaced it with a PSA LPK and all problems went away.
I cannot say about anything else though. Just stay away from their LPK's
I might be the lucky one, since I have their stainless LPK and had zero issues with it. Love the trigger actualy.
