Ditto. I found one of Dave's posts on another forum when doing research about pistol permits in Broome County. Did a few more searches trying to find out more about RPD and stumbled across this forum.

Ah. Another car guy. Seems to be a lot of us on here. I'm not on NYSpeed but I'm on roclife (as much as I hate to admit it now) and rspeed.

I was searching for info on NYS gun laws as a pistol permit applicant and hopefully permit holder if Monroe County ever gets to working on the paperwork! I was hoping for a seix month wait, but have heard it is closer to a year. Ridiculous!

I know someone that got their Monroe county permit in the mail yesterday. They applied on December 12th (i think) and got phone calls from the sheriff 5 weeks ago.
