I you own a prgressive press, and especially if you already have a case feeder, check out the new Hornady Bullet Feeder. I had previously used an RCBS Bullet Feeder with my Hornady LnL AP press, but was not impressed with its plastic bullet feed collets. The Hornady dies use hardened steel collets that hold adjustment. And I was able to use the Hornady for 357SIG without modification, whereas the RCBS could only do it by modifying the plastic collet in a 40S&W die. You want to use the Hornady Lead Bullet Thru-Powder Expander (assuming a Hornady press) for plated or jacketed bullets, as it can be adjusted for the slightly expanded holding area at the mouth of the case to receive the bullet from the die. Similar case mouth prep on other brand presses would be suitable. If you already have the RCBS Bullet Feeder, you can use the improved Hornady die only by counterboring its top opening for approx. 1/2" to accept the RCBS bullet feed tube.
