It's hard to adjust to NYS laws after living out west, (AZ currently) and I am into retro ARs, which means I'd have to permanently modify a historic barrel - but I am in the process of building a NYS legal KISS carbine - it has an A1 C7 type upper, Delton lower, A1 fixed stock (shorter than A2) 14.5" M4 barrel & HGs with a PWS FSC556 compensator permanently pinned. The lower is not pre-ban, but all the mags I'll be bringing with me will be. I intend to maintain my AZ 'citizenship' as I have a legal residence here, but my 9mm SBR will have to stay here I suppose.
